PAINWeek Course Preview: Preventing, Assessing, and Treating Complex Regional Pain Syndrome

Give us a brief overview of your course at PAINWeek 2015?

This course will highlight how to diagnose and treat CRPS along with making providers aware of when to send to the patient to a pain CENTER for interventional treatment.

Who should plan to attend?

This course will be valuable for all Primary Care Providers.

What will course participants learn that they can take back to their practices?

My colleagues and I will be providing updates on clinical criteria to diagnose the disease. Attendees will also be briefed in the most up to date pharmacological management of CRPS.

What is the “essential pearl” that PAINWeek participants will miss, if they miss your course?

The sooner that stellate ganglion blocks or lumbar sympathetic blocks are performed, the better the pain outcomes!

As you review the Schedule at a Glance and design your course agenda for PAINWeek 2015, plan to make this Special Interest Session (SIS-07) on CRPS a part of your PAINWeek experience! We look forward to your participation at PAINWeek: The National Conference on Pain for Frontline Practitioners!
