AAFP on ER/LA REMS-related CME: Should Remain Voluntary

At a recent public meeting convened by the FDA seeking input from various stakeholder organizations, the American Academy of Family Physicians favored continuation of a voluntary stance for prescriber education on ER/LA opioids, citing concern for appropriate pain management and maintaining patient access.
